There often is a rush to finish. Try to resist this urge. Starting can be the most fun, the most inspiring and teach you a lot if you are willing to hold off for a while from pushing to a finished result. By allowing the paint to build up, you are creating a richer surface, more interest and more possibilities for the final stages of your art. If you are working on a series, try to develop all the panels evenly. Allow all the panels to mature evenly. Of course, it is important to finish these paintings, but we only ask you to go slower so that you can more easily learn from all the stages of art making, not just the final stage. Remember that the magnificence of the building has everything to do with it’s foundation.
